Global fund needed for tackling air pollution

Approximately seven million people die globally every year from health conditions related to air pollution, leading for calls for the increased recognition of this.

According to the Clean Air Fund, less than 1% of global funding is invested in air pollution. However, with increased funding it is suggested that non-communicable deaths from heart disease, pneumonia and cancers can be avoided.
